This Chinese Black Bamboo wall scroll measures about 10x34 inches, not including the black wood rods at the bottom. In Chinese culture paintings of one of the four noble plants are the bamboo, orchid, chrysanthemum, and plum blossom are often used to describe honest and upright people who deserve our respect.

Bamboo is especially relevant in this case as it grows tall and straight. Although bamboo is very strong inside it is hollow, which represents modesty.
