The other small words say that it was painted in the winter of 2005 and list the name of the artist (Xing Chen, which means Morning Star). The top and bottom of the Hate scroll is dark blue silk brocade, and the calligraphy painting is surrounded by white silk brocade. Xing Chen, a Beijing, China artist who we discovered on one of our recent buying trips, painted this Hate scroll. The artist, Xing Chen, sealed this Hate calligraphy painting.
